Handles logistics for our truck fleet and all sub-trucks

Serves as Project Manager for any projects in Oklahoma and Texas.

    Meet Trey Ashcraft

    Trey's Journey to Design One: From Politics to Power Equipment

    ​

    Trey joined Design One in 2019, bringing with him a wealth of experience from the world of government and politics. His journey to the company is a testament to his diverse skills and commitment to public service.

    ​

    Trey's career began as a deputy under Arkansas Attorney General Mark Pryor, where he was an integral part of the Governmental Affairs team. He oversaw the lobbying and political interests of the Attorney General, acting as a liaison between elected officials, state agencies, and the AG's office.

     

    He later served the City of Pine Bluff, first as Deputy Director for Inspection and Zoning, and then through an appointment to the Planning Commission. His expertise in navigating complex systems also led him to work as a political consultant for Grainger Terry Inc. in Chicago before returning to Arkansas to open his own consulting office.

    ​

    For 14 years, Trey served as Chairman of the Jefferson County Election Commission, demonstrating his dedication to fair and transparent elections. He also served as Jefferson County Clerk, further solidifying his connection to the local community.

    ​

    During times of crisis, Trey stepped up to serve. He oversaw two sites for the Katrina Assistance Relief Effort under Governor Mike Huckabee. His commitment to Arkansas continued with Governor Mike Beebe's appointments to the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission and the Delta Leadership Academy through the Delta Regional Authority and the University of Alabama.

    Trey makes his home in Pine Bluff, where he is a member of New Life Church.

     

    His diverse background, from navigating the political landscape to serving his community, makes him a valuable asset to Design One.
